Community Associate

As a Community Associate, you will report directly to the Platform94 Centre Manager and will be responsible for building and maintaining our strong, unique community – so it is integral that you are proactive and a people-person. You will be a natural networker with experience in a similar environment, building a community around shared interests and business goals. You are passionate, driven, ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a person with a “can do” attitude and a strong sense of autonomy and the ability to work off their own initiative.

Role & Responsibilities

Community Management

  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to all members and guests.
  • Answer “walk-up” questions from members or guests – troubleshooting.
  • Represent the distinct Platform94 brand ethos, atmosphere and culture.
  • Give tours of Platform94 to interested parties/potential clients, telling the story of Platform94 and what it means to be a part of our community.
  • Health & Safety Compliance (COVID-19)
  • Support the team where needed in delivering events and monthly “community” activities to our members.
  • Fostering community relations through events and involvement in community initiatives.
  • Growing the community by creating initiatives to engage new & existing clients.

Member Management

  • Onboarding – Support the onboarding process including new member orientations & escalating any member issues to Centre Manager.
  • Systems – Updating our CRM and various systems with member details.

Facilities Coordination

  • Assist in the procurement of vendors and services as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining premises in neat and good working condition.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of business continuity plans.
  • Provide support for regular management reports and projects as required.
  • Day-to-day oversight of operations in designated site areas. Reception, Cleaning, Security and additional occasional sub-contractors

       

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills ensuring that ideas/initiatives are identified and adopted via hands on client relationship management.
  • Strong team player and excellent interpersonal and networking skills with entrepreneurs, investors and other all stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Highly competent with a multitude of software packages in particular MS Office365 (Virtual/Online platforms e.g. Zoom)

  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment (preferred)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. Additional hours may be requested for events.
